Does anybody know when the 2008 road Cannondale bicycles are going to
be available for purchase at the retail stores ?

Thank you + Regards

What are the dealers saying? Could be that Cannondale is keeping things
under wraps until the Las Vegas bike show (mid-September), but I doubt it,
since the other major players have already brought in dealers for shows
(Specialized and Trek, for example). But a Cannondale dealer, particularly a
larger one, should already have some idea of what's going on and when they
might be seeing bikes.

It's also possible that Cannondale is deliberately laying low, checking out
what everybody else is doing first. That might make sense strategically,
since Trek in particularly revamped pretty much their entire line, top to
bottom, so if they had tooled up to go against what they *thought* their
competition was, there would have to be a lot of re-thinking.

Hi Mike,

A cycling related question:

What do you think of "'Zerts", or whatever they're calling inserts in
the rear triangle about 1/3 of the way down the seat stays on
Specialized's Roubaix bikes? Compromise durability? Why trade a 'solid
seatstay' for a tiny improvement in vibration damping when the bike is
already Carbon?

A test ride today produced a minor 'wow' experience, but I'm not sure
about those things; in case you know.
