Subject: A deal almost too good to pass up?
This morning I was surfing nashbar and saw that they have their cargo
trailer on sale right now for $99 I am tempted to buy one just because
it looks like a pretty good deal. It's rated at 45lbs, think that is
somewhat less than a bob, but still. Even when I did my 1200 miles 39
day tour of Florida I don't think I had more than 35 to 40lbs of gear,
and I thought that was too much.

$89 right now. I'd get one if my neighborhood bikes didn't have bolted
rear axles. That's a screaming deal--for a utility trailer, don't
know if I'd want to tour with one. Good for groceries and weird shaped
stuff, so if you have an accordion, bob's yer uncle.

Plus 15% off today, so it's $76.49.

It is a deal if you have the need for one. I was thinking I might use it
for touring. Then I realized that I am not going to have the opportunity
to do a tour much longer than a week. So for that long I can get by with
racks and panniers which I already have.

I almost bought the Nasbar front and rear panniers because they're
like 40% off. But then I got to thinking, why do I need this? I got by
with a Carradice Long Camper saddlebag which held about 8 kilos of
stuff and I made it through the Alps for 18 days no problem. I don't
plan on doing any expeditions so I said neah, and didn't hit the
checkout button.

Thanks. You just talked me out of hitting the buy button. I like some of
the positives of a trailer. But I don't see me having the opportunity in
the near future for anything more than like a week. So for a week I
could definitely get buy with racks and panniers.
