My kid's bike's tire says 24x1.8 and I need to replace the tube. My local shop sold me a tube that says this: 24x1.5/1.75. Does that mean it's ok for 1.5-1.75 width, but not for this tire? Or is the extra 0.05 inconsequential? The bike is a Specialied Hotrock.

Let's put it this way: 0.05 inches is less than the thickness of a dime. I think the rubber can handle that. :-3) - - Comments and opinions compliments of, "Your Friendly Neighborhood Wheelman" My web Site: http://geocities.com/czcorner To E-mail me: ChrisZCorner "at" webtv "dot" net

Inconsequential, as long as the valve type matches the hole in the rim. jeverett3<AT >earthlink<DOT>net http://home.earthlink.net/~jeverett3

In the words of Emily Litella, never mind. Rob Torop wrote: > My kid's bike's tire says 24x1.8 and I need to replace the tube. My > local shop sold me a tube that says this: 24x1.5/1.75.
