Subject: Booties for big-feet (size 50)
I just bought a new pair of Sidi Dominator 5 shoes (MTB shoes which I
use on the road and off) and my usual booties don't fit (they hardly
fit my pair of Specialized size 48).

Can anyone with a comparable shoe size make a recommendation for a good
pair of booties to use in cold weather? Or am I just going have have
to stitch up some fleece-lined rawhide myself and make it work?

I have size XXXL Giordana windtex ones that go over my size 50 Diadora
Geko road shoes. The Giordana neoprene ones are nowhere near as big. I
wear US 15.

On a sizing chart Diadora size 50 equals US 14.
Many brands on one chart go to

The neoprence boots go to size 14 or XLarge depending. Louis G and
Performance brands. @20 bucks
Toesties are @10
