As I peruse these cycling newsgroups I ponder at what is wrong with them.
Well, the main thing that is wrong is that they are populated solely by
idiots, morons and imbeciles. But other than that, what is wrong with them?
Gentlemen, it comes down to an under appreciation of My Greatness. Yea, I
want to hear nothing but hosannas from the lot of you, but instead I get
nothing brickbats ... like Garfield the Cat. This is an outrage. On the
other hand, no man is ever a prophet in his own country. Well, these
freaking cycling newsgroups are my own country and so I guess I can expect
never to get the honor that is due me.
But I will soldier on to the bitter end until I am recognize and appreciated
by one and all. Yea, someday you will look back on all of this and realize
that you were visited by a God. But by then it will be too late, and there
will be much weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth that you let such a
precious resource slip though without a proper worship.

Mr. Sherman is only a pretend idiot. Slugger, formerly of this group ARBR,
was a real idiot. There is a world of difference between the two and you do
not have to be very intelligent to discern which is which.
For instance, I treat a real idiot one way and a pretend idiot another way.
Mostly, I cut a real idiot more slack since he can't help it whereas a
pretend idiot often borders on being a scoundrel. Mr. Sherman is most
fortunate indeed to have the Great Ed Dolan here to keep him on the straight
and narrow. Otherwise, he could easily descend into real idiocy besides
being the scoundrel that he is.
