Subject: Heart rate monitor with no strap?
|
I saw this had ben brought up a few times. My inquiry was using it for my walk to the metro in the morning, and to watch my heart rate all day. I don't want to have a strap under my suit. Does anyone at all make one without the chest strap, even if it's a little flaky?

I tried a wrist watch one that read the back of the watch and your fingers from the other hand. Did not work for me, and the instructions said 'Does not work for all people'

I had one once that hooked to a wristband held unit, and clipped on my finger. They both rely on blood pulses, and, I am sure, would not be convenient in your office. If you want to get away from the chest band, you would probably have to use those adhesive electrodes that are used in EKG measurements. What's wrong with a chest band?
