Subject: Kona Dew: anything glaring to watch out for?
I flipped a couple Altus equipped hybrids last week and put $200 in
the bike piggie and have been trying to find me a cheap neighborhood
hybrid on Craigslist. No luck. I figure I should just grab a Kona Dew
from the shop down the street for $400, dial in the wheels and
bearings, plop on some fenders from a selection hanging in the garage
and get on with life.

I'd not thunk of buying a cheapy Altus equipped bike if I hadn't run
across those two hybrids for $25 each last week. Shifts as well as
anybody on a beer run or three miles downtown for a concert would ever
need. Who wouldda thunk it? Probably made in China--but hey--it's got
a cool logo!

Gosh I'm a great conversationalist! ;-)

Getting some in in two weeks. Spec looks low end but perfect for a
utility bike. I really don't get spending the extra 500 for the Deluxe
when all ya get are steal me brakes and a bitch of a time mounting
stuff. Can't believe I'm excited about getting a cheap hybrid. He he.
Payed for by craigslist. ;-D That's probably why. ;-)

steenkin' suspension and discs.
