I had occasion to rent one of these for a long ride this weekend. I was not looking forward to it, as the shop only had a limited number of road bikes and I didn't want to rent a mountain bike. It turned out to be a surprisingly fun bike. It seemed to have pretty much road bike gearing (though the big chain ring is probably 48 vs 50 plus, which would have been better) with slightly bigger tires, 700Cx28, no suspension except for a stiff suspension seatpost. This is the first hybrid I have ever been on. Overall, I thought it was a nice bike. My hands got tired from the limited number of grip positions available, but otherwise I can see how this would be a great bike for tooling around town.

Had mine for a year and over 3000 miles now and still happy. Supplied tyres were rubbish and back wheel had to be rebuilt coz of dodgy spokes but reliable otherwise. I've fitted "inboard" bar ends to alleviate the tired hands thing.

Even as is, it was a fun bike to ride and would make a good city bike.
