Is anyone else having trouble finding older articles? I'm trying to
find an article I posted a couple of years ago and it looks as though
I can't retreive anything older than about a year. I've been using the
"advanced search" option for years and this is my first bad
experience.

I was trying to access this group from work today and kept getting a 'try
again in 30 seconds' error message. Not that trying again did any good. I
think they're having some sort of problem

Did you change your email address about a year ago? While your
profile on Google Groups only shows about a year of history, my own
shows posts going back to 2003, when I switched from AustinBoston to
AustinMN (with an ISP change and an email address change as well).

I've gone through at least four email addresses since I started
posting to r.b.*, but I've always used "John Everett" in the author
line in advanced groups search and this has covered all my posts.

I've found if I use my old email addresses (with "DEFEAT.UCE.BOTS"
inserted) I can find my old emails, but for some reason using my name
as a search parameter now only works for my current email address.
This is a change google has implemented for some reason.

WERE you posting over a year ago? I've never even heard of you.

Just kidding ;-)
