Retailer Gives Away Dozens of Bicycles (KTRE-TV East Texas)
Christmas is still more than a week away, but some East Texas kids were
part of an amazing gift giveaway Friday. Academy Sports and Outdoors in
Lufkin gave away 25 brand new bright, shiny bicycles and helmets to
students at Slack Elementary School.

Recipients sought for free bicycles (The Bryan-College Station Eagle)
Local lawyer Jeff Paradowski is giving away 100 bicycles to
underprivileged children this holiday season.

Folsom Inmates Refurbish Bikes For Needy Kids (KCRA TheKCRAChannel.com

Bicycles from Folsom State Prison were loaded up Friday for El Dorado
County's Toys For Tots program.

Scott sheriff's office gives away bicycles (Kingsport Times-News)
GATE CITY - Parents and children converged on the Scott County
Sheriff's Department Friday to get a free bicycle as part of the
department's 14th annual bike giveaway.

Good one. I particularly liked the Folsom inmates doing the fixing up
in the first post. That teaches a useful skill as well as being good
for the kids. Hopefully the kids won't grow up wanting to be Folsom
inmates so that they can do good as well.
