Subject: Where/how to host our cycling club website?
Hi,

Our cycling club currently has it's website hosted thru Eteamz, which
works... OK. But it's very difficult to use.

Can anyone suggest anything easier to use, edit, update, etc. that
would provide the sorts of things a bike club needs?

-Club membershp list
-uploading cue sheets
-Ideally, some sort of Wiki for recording club procedures, etc.
-Calendar of events, etc.

Hi,

We've been experimenting with a Wiki - see http://www.lkjh.biz/index.php?title=Main_Page
- hosted by Siteground - http://www.siteground.com/

You can easily update lists of runs, cafes and photo galleries - and
if you've got some techy help you can include maps of routes. See

Good Luck, Kirby

Hey,
I wonder if you could use an older computer with linux and apache and
host the site your self from your `club house` or LBS. I am guessing
that there is someone in your group who can handle this. I host my own
machine/site in my garage for my kids sport team. It handles
calendars, informational blog postings, team rosters and more.

This might be a cheap and easy way to go.

Good luck,
Chris
