That would be a great thing for LIVEDRUNK. Given the results of "The War on Drugs", Livedrunk would have Fortune 500 type assets in a couple of years, and all of us at the top of the pyramid could retire and ride the world. We could also buy an RBR Pro-Tour team. I'm picturing Sandy as head of legal, Davey as UCI liason, Kurgan as women's team DS and coach, E-Rok and J-Me as co DS. E D as chief soigneur and "rider accommodation" and Howard as chief of food service. I think Mr. Sachs could handle the Technical director pretty well. TK, Lafferty, and I could do the press, between the three of us they'd run off screaming, or print whatever we wanted just to shut us up. I vote we sign Cunego as first rider. Bill C

Drunks are orders of magnitude more of a threat to us cyclists than terrorists. Doesn't mean we ignore the terrorists, but as a threat to everyday civilian life they are an incredibly miniscule risk at worst. That's why they are called "terror" "ists" because they succeed by spreading fear. We've gone gutless and they exploit it. They kill a handful of people and we cringe. They hide among, and use civilians for shields while killing us, then we scream at ourselves when those "civilians" are killed. Promotes using "civilians for shields. We fight them, where they are being sheltered, armed, and protected, and then the news asks the people who provided their support if those were "civilians" killed. Wadda Ya Know?? The answer almost always is that they were all civilians. Yet another victory for them, and a more important one. Bill C

Yep, panic time: http://www.nps.gov/archive/anti/casualty.htm quoted: If you take a conservative estimate of 20% of the wounded dying of their wounds and 30% of the missing killed, the approximate number of soldiers that died as a result of this battle are 7,640. That's a single day in the US. http://www.vac-acc.gc.ca/general/sub.cfm?source=history/firstwar/canada/Canada8 quoted: On July 1, at 7.30 a.m, at a time dictated by the French to allow their artillery observers clear views, thousands of British and French troops began their advance across No Man's Land on a front of over 40 kilometres toward the German positions The result was slaughter-57,500 British soldiers killed, wounded or missing in one day- the heaviest day's combat losses ever suffered by the British Army. At the end of the day the French had gained nearly all of their objectives as had the British divisions to the south; but for two thirds of the British sector almost nothing at all had been gained. Even the ones that succeed would be laughable except for the death, pain and destruction. If, as example, the 9/11 morons had been stopped we'd be laughing at the night club trips for Allah and the body shaving and all their other idiocy. Fact is, just because they are stupid doesn't mean we can discount them. All I want to know is whether I'll get 72 virgin podium girls if I blow up in a race. Just a dream I know, the chances of find 72 virgin podium girls is about the same as Ullrich having a chimeric twin with the same DNA who was a Fuentes client.

U.S. Post office employees have done more damage while visiting McDonalds. This was lame. The terrorists have it too easy, all they have to do is set a car on fire to get the worldwide media to freak out, albeit on an otherwise slow news day. When I was in college, we sometimes did this just for fun. We called it a "bonfire". Now the guy that painted the road at the finish of stage 11 of the Giro, THERE was a real criminal mastermind! Sneaking in at night and making the paint look like it belonged there, seeding the clouds ... what planning! I believe there was more blood shed than at Glasgow. His big mistake was doing it at a lousy bike race. Just imagine the havoc if Al Qaeda gets this guy to fix the field surface for next year's Super Bowl!
