Where I grew up in northern Illinois, "jagoff" was the pronunciation.
I don't recall when I came to understand the meaning. Perhaps later,
after I had learned the term "jackoff." Personally, I think "wanker"
is a lot funnier.

Dude, are you from the 'burg?
The only motherfuckers I know that can use the term "jagoff" in a
