Two bicyclists died yesterday in separate incidents. In the morning, a 70-year-old rider collapsed during an off-road ride near Moshav Odem in the northern Golan Heights. Magen David Adom paramedics declared him dead at the scene. Meanwhile, a 58-year-old collapsed cycling near Naveh Shalom and was also declared dead at the scene. He's an astrophysicist. They experiment with time dilation (but only when they can't afford illegal stimulants).

Everyone is expected to start moving at that point (or so it seems judging by the honking.....).

A policeman forced Leah Goldstein to get off her bike while she was on a training ride, which is probably a good thing, given these incidents. More generally, israeli road safety is terrible. The number of Israeli civilians killed in the Lebanon war last year was on the same order as pedestrians killed by cars each month. -ilan
