which refers to this story:

"Landis is set to appear at a ch 25 fundraiser at the Ephrata
Performing Arts Center for his legal defense fund."

Too bad that he isn't having it at Stout's in Adamstown, instead. The
(free) beer at The Brooklyn Brewery was quite a nice bonus.

This one isn't posted yet up on the FFF site:

Feel free to debate whether this is on or off topic.

Ya know, I checked out that place during the Tour d'e Ephrata. Stoudts
makes good beer in Adamstown, like the Scarlet Lady ESB, but it was a
ghost town that day. There is some kind of mall there, but the brewery
seemed downplayed.
I hope I'm wrong.

Stoudt's is one of the finest, and highly regarded, brewpubs in the East. It
has always been busy when I have been there. The antique flea ket does
real well. However, their "village" is pretty much a ghost town.

That area of PA is God's counrty for cycling. Great roads and a World class
velodrome nearby.

Floyd spent his early years on some great roads. So did I and I miss it.

Floyd was in DC today making a surprise appearance at the annual National
Bike Summit, cycling's big lobbying event. He was extremely well-received.
And he spoke highly of the great roads he grew up on, saying that felt
extremely lucky to be able to grow up in an environment without TV and video
games, getting instead to explore the world outside for fun.
