Had a fire in the fireplace, and after a few beers decided to make good
use of the fire. I tossed my Tour de France VHS tapes into it, one at a
time. VHS tapes are so yesterday, and so is the Tour. After the Landis
fiasco (I blame the French), they have finally driven me away for good. I
only watched them a couple of times, and I had to mute the sound, as I
couldn't stand that infernal racket the fans make in Europe. It's like a
mosquito buzzing in your ear. I believe the Tour wants to return to being a
provincial race, where the French will have a chance to win again, and the
Americans would just go away.

Well, they've started with the Swedish, just to see if anyone will
stand up to them.
I think I'm going to join a local club like the ACBB (Boulogne-
Billancourt), if things
go as you say, they will get a wild card spot in a couple of years.
