Kunich was getting ready for the UN Blue Helmets and Black Helicopters.

NORCO, California (AP) -- More than 1 million rounds of ammunition, a cache
of weapons and a tunnel were found at a man's home after an explosive fire
that forced a neighborhood evacuation, authorities said Friday.

Crews worked to fortify the tunnel, which measured 5 feet wide by 8 feet
long, to ensure it was safe. It appeared to be at least 10 feet deep and led
into a backyard, authorities said.

The fire Thursday afternoon at the home in Norco, about 45 miles east of Los
Angeles, caused some of the ammunition to explode.

Sounds like a promo stunt for "24" if you ask me...

And NO charges brought yet. It may just be procedural, but charge his
ass with everything possible, then evaluate whether he is competent to
stand trial.

That's funny... I like the way the news item says "More than 1 million
rounds of ammunition, a cache
of weapons and a tunnel"... I didn't know tunnels were dangerous
weapons, but there ya go :)

The N. Koreans have been digging tunnels south for 50 years:
http://www.rense.com/general37/nkorr.htm

Tunnels are an essential part of Iran's nuclear program:
http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/world/20041127-0711-nuclear-iran-germany.html

Where was Saddam Hussein captured? Oh yeah, it was in a tunnel!
http://www.guardian.co.uk/Iraq/Story/0,,1106951,00.html

What caused the war in Iraq? It was tunnel vision:
http://www.lewrockwell.com/engelhardt/engelhardt255.html

These tunnels have managed to stay underground for far too long, but now
they have been exposed! The war on drugs is passe (how do you do that
little thing above the "e"?) and I'm getting bored with the war on
terror. It's no fun any more. The time has come for bold and decisive
steps to stop the menace that you cannot see. Let us ignore the ones
you CAN see for a while as we engage the enemy at home, abroad, maybe in
your own back yard, in the WAR ON TUNNELS.

We will start by eliminating the moles who have infiltrated with
impunity ... etc, etc,etc...

Sure, you just have to place them very carefully. Look at this way -
what if you suddenly found out there were a bunch of tunnels in your
back yard, but you didn't know where they were. Just laying around,
waiting for you to stumble out with a cold beer in your hand sometime
in the summer.

See. Could make a person paranoid. Even without the munitions.
