I believe the correct spelling is "Kucharik". They are still around
and selling wool cycle clothing and their prices are pretty
reasonable.

I have an "old school" pair of madison shorts from the early 80s.
Approximate size 32 american. IIRC the brand is "Kucharac", but I
doubt I'm spelling that correctly. Woolies from the pre lycra era.
They probably don't have the anti torque feature you mentioned but
they'll protect your jammer.
They're just sitting in a drawer now. I'm willing to pass them on to a
"good family".
Contact me if you're interested.

Probably mean Kucharik and they're still in business though I'm sure they
haven't made Madison shorts in a heck of a long time. I'd be willing to bet
that Johnny's son could made some up on special order though.

Well... OK:

ee cummings perhaps said it best:

to elevate your tool..."

You mean with the pocket on the hip for the chucker?

Yup. They should also have an extra (doubled) panel around the top 4-5
inches, so your partner doesn't torque your shorts if he grabs your jamming
tool.
