Dumbass - What's more valuable: a cross World Champion jersey or a Masters Fattie National Champion jersey? just curious, K. Gringioni.

Age-graded competitions are a way of dumbing down competition to make it as easy as possible to win something. What is it - like 50 national championship jerseys are awarded every year by USAC? That's disgusting and makes me want to climb some tower with a few high powered rifles and a flak jacket. Thanks, Magilla

You're wrong about just about everything you post, but an entertaining troller nonetheless. Bob Schwartz

If you say it's over 400, that's the number I'll go with. That number should tell you the value of a stars and stripes jersey in this sport. Magilla

I'm not sure why I didn't notice before. http://www.cyclocrossontario.com/cervelo_r3_cross_prototype Interesting that they don't seem to have moulded a flat profile in the the top tube to make it easier to carry. That might not be a big deal for pros. Experimenting with a magnesium rear derailer hanger for a 4g weight saving? I know Cervelo is all about the incremental advantages adding up, but that seems a little too incremental. There's a lot of bike parts (not something as small and simple as a rder hanger) where a company would be pretty happy to produce parts weighing within 4g of each other. That said, the lower tensile strength of Mg (vs Al) might be an advantage in this application. -- Ryan Cousineau rcousine@sfu.ca http://www.wiredcola.com/ "I don't want kids who are thinking about going into mathematics to think that they have to take drugs to succeed." -Paul Erdos
