I dunno. If Greg (TIOOYK) claimed a virtual win, I don't see it in that
article.

Now, if you'd posted with the subject "the inspiration for T-Mobile's
tactics: Team USA, Goodwood 1982," we all would have had a good laugh.

Jonathan Boyer has often said that he would have won in Goodwood if LeMond
hadn't chased him down.

Okay, I'll have to concede that George Mount probably has a pretty good
perspective on this. He is often outspoken but he's also often right.

Let me rephrase.

Jonathan Boyer has often said something along the lines of "I would have won
in Goodwood if LeMond hadn't chased me down."

I'm not saying LeMond chased down Boyer ... I'm saying that Boyer claims
LeMond chased him down, originating the virtual American win.

Lemond did in fact chase him down, but as Greg said, he owed no
allegiance to anyone having paid his own way to the race

Besides which, Davey is heartily fed up of this Virtual HorseShit

Fuck, I'd have been World Champion in 2005 if there hadn't been about
a dozen Wankers finish ahead of me ;)

Under the false mantle of peacemaker, Tony Bliar is Washington's man
and the West's envoy to Israel. His job is to continue six decades of
ethnic cleansing war and repression against defenseless Palestinians,
support open conflict doing it if necessary, ally with an illegitimate
quisling Fatah government, and outrageously claim he's there seeking
peace.

You're worse than the LNDD

You got the wrong list

Davey was in his prime around 50 firkin' years ago ;)

And he can still regularly hang on to the Saturday Morning Monaco
Chain-Gang where several of the Real Racers strut their stuff when
they're in the Area

And just so you get the message, this was Davey a few weeks back

Fat as a Pig as you will no doubt observe

http://azurservers.com/rbr/jun02.jpg

And here he was around 56 years ago as a member of the British
National Cross Country Running Squad - (centre, back row)

Have a nice day

Consider yourself the 2007 world skateboard champion.

No thanks

Davey hasn't the slightest interest in having anything to do with an
event that should be McBoggy's Epitaph

Besides which he wiped his ass with his UCI licance after the 2005 Worlds
(Masters) and now has a UFOLEP License

And further, Davey only consented to participate in such foolishness
because he has two daughters in the 2005 Host City who were sure Davey
could win with a half hour to spare a la Fausto.

Unfortunately Davey failed, albeit not too miserably, to make the
Podium and decided thereafter to confine his competative energies to
UFOLEP and FSGT events.

And it doesn't seem that farfetched in spite of Lemond's protestations to the
contrary.
