Chris Horner just left the start house (Tour of Romandie), and he wasn't
smiling. Very uncharacteristic of Chris. Can't tell you how many photos I've
taken at the TdF where you could spot him a mile away, because he was the
only guy with a grin on his face.

You mean Mr. Sucks-at-TT himself? Nothing like a lot of "I know what's
coming" to put a scowl on your face.

Chris is a one day man and a super domestique but not a TT artist.

He still acquitted himself pretty well. He never was going to beat T.
Dekker but to only lose 55 seconds isn't too shabby.

His 3rd place in the prologue wasn't too bad! It was, of course, very short
(3k?) and he didn't even use TT bars. So I'm in agreement that he's not a TT
guy.

He'd pretty much called things even before the final stage, saying that
Dekker was the likely guy to take the jersey in the end.

Regardless, my point was that I've seen Chris during times of extreme pain
and hopelessness and still, he always looked like he was living the dream,
the luckiest guy in the world to be where he was. With that big smile on his
face.
