Looks like it's time for Ullrich to face the music with that DNA test ordered in Germany for some reason. At this point he might as well go with it and hope for an "unconclusive" result, who knows. That would likely get him a seat in a Pro-Tour Team to end his career. Bad news for all the others and partciularly Basso though who would have to submit to the same kind of testing. Like Legay said, this is probably the only way out of this Puerto mess.

I'm gonna start my own team, Bob's doughnut shop as sponsor. we won't actually be able to pay Jan to race with us, but I plan to entice him with lots of free doughnuts. might as well since he can't get hired any where else.......we also have access to discounted coffee, unfortunately no ecstasy though cycledogg wrote: > Curtis L. The motherfucker took ecstacy and he wears an earring. The circumstantial evidence he did it is already present. And once Ullbitch's DNA match is confirmed, it will open up the floodgates for other riders' DNA testing. And then we'll see how ethical the Italian federation looks when Basso's DNA matches after they already "cleared" him. It's funny...the Italian federation never did say how they cleared a rider from Puerto when they acknowledge they didn't even do a DNA test. Oh that's right, DNA testing is "only for serial killers," according to The Cricket. Apparently, golden shoes doesn't know that DNA testing was done on a sitting U.S. President to match his DNA with a semen stain on a plumper's dress from Lane Bryant. Magilla

And then we'll see how >ethical the Italian federation looks when Basso's DNA matches after they >already "cleared" him. What we don't all know is whether the DNA sample obtained for a criminal case can be extended to non-criminal situations, much less whether the case of a cyclist who is the subject of a criminal investigation (Ullrich) has much to do with what happens in a non-criminal procedure involving another cyclist altogether. If these other cyclists aren't the objects of criminal investigations or probes, I don't see that it is so evident that we will know anything new about Basso or his blood bags or that any floodgates will open for other DNA testing. My $ 100 says that your floodgates - even if Ullrich has a DNA match - won't amount to more than five additional athletes, other than from the current German criminal investigations, tested by December 31, 2007 from the Puerto cases. Including non-cyclists. Bet? They don't even have to match. Curtis L. Russell Odenton, MD (USA) Just someone on two wheels...

Let's start a betting pool. $15 says Ullbitch's blood matches at least one bag from the OP cooler. Can someone manage this fund in Paypal and then distribute? We'll call it the Ullbitch Blood Doping Fund (UBDF). Magilla
