be easier for Astana to help Kloden win the TDF this year.

That is hardly an insurmountable gap. But having to do the TTT will
hurt Vino later on and will also damage his team support. Hope they
get everything they... nudge, nudge... need to recover.

Lucky for Vino, then.

Fignon forgot his name in today's coverage.

As the Kazak rider on a german team (TMobile), Vino got no support
(remember a couple years' back when Klodi & Ulli kept on chasing Vino
down?). Now with the tables turned, will the German get any support
from the Kazak team? Will we see Vino and Kash chasing down Klodi? Or
do they have their act together a little better this time 'round?

Is that what that sound was when Vino wrecked? The sound of a
collective orgasmic gasp from the bookies?

Will the BBC ever stop Telling Lies?

The BBC has issued a grovelling apology to the Queen today after it
lied about her "storming out" of a photo shoot.

The corporation admitted it had "misrepresented" what had happened in
an encounter between the Queen and photographer Annie Leibovitz in
Buckingham Palace.

In a trailer for a BBC documentary, the Queen is seen apparently
leaving after a clash with Leibovitz over whether she should take off
her tiara for a picture.

But the BBC was forced to admit the trailer was misleading - and that
pictures of the Queen leaving and apparently complaining to a retainer
in fact showed her coming into the room to be photographed.
