The last two years the policy was "riders first" wherever possible, and I saw first hand all the work to do everything they could to accomodate riders, and situations that came up, and that's everyone from the organizing committee, to BikeReg, to the people working and volunteering at the race. I don't get that feel from KC and I really have questions about their being able to deliver on some of the things they've said. I sincerely hope I'm totally wrong and it works out great for everyone because I love Cross, but I'm not hopeful. I've got a front row seat to how Nat's here worked, and the Verge Series, and how far everyone involved will go in consideration of the racers and the experience. I've made it clear that I'm a huge fan of Adam Myerson, JD Bilodeau, Alan Atwood, Steve Roszko, and the folks here at Nebra, not just because they are friends, but because of how they treat people. I don't have any inside information on the KC folks, but what's posted makes me question things. Bill C

Last weekend in Boulder she won both UCI races by approximately a minute each time. Before you think that means that the other US women are on par with the Euro-women, keep in mind that she changed bikes every lap just for the practice. No telling how large her winning margins would've been had she not spent so much time in the pits!
