Are you kidding? More likely to be Pound's retirement
race - the crit they hold in the retiree's hometown where
he gets to ceremonially and emotionally cross the line
first.

There's always the possibility that whoever replaces
Pound will also be a sanctimonious putz. It goes
with the job.

I'm praying that rumor isn't confirmed. I can't think of a worse
choice, except maybe Lemond.

I was under the impression he was moving to the CAS which
would result in the CAS becoming completely redundant as there
would be no point in appealing to them.

According to _Absolutely False_ Pound announced in 2006 that he was
stepping down in Nov 2007. Seems too early to be due to the Landis
case.
