One of the worlds most treacherous climb (aside that one in Brazil), about
two dozen cyclists get passed by this car yet the effects of the video
demonstrate the toughness of this climb. It's worth viewing the eight
minutes in full screen video. It'll make you dizzy.

After watching that I believe that I'll stick with Colorado. The
climbs are longer, the altitudes higher and the traffic non-existant.

Yeah, but the traffic that IS there likely includes an RV with a driver who was road-tested around WWII. (Not to mention the off-duty cops, drivers with attitude, and the usual mix of carnage generating "I-didn't-see-him" folk).

"I had asked Mr Cinelli what the greatest road in the Alps was, to
which he replied without hesitation, the Stelvio, but that I might
not like it because it was unpaved.
...
I was discovering why Pirelli named their top racing car tire the
Stelvio. This has a special meaning to people who know this road."

I found myself inhaling and shifting to the right in my chair as they
went through the tunnels. Virtual climbing is getting more
strenuous. Nice vid.
