Anybody know why DZ lost time on yesterday's stage?

Because he spent the whole day making sure Fabina Cancellara would have the
chance to sprint for the win and stay in yellow. Once his work at the front
of the peloton was over it sounds like he took it easy and stayed out of the
crashes in the end.

I liked DZ's quote in one of the Velonews interviews I think, When asked why
there are so many crashes in the first stages he says "because there are
still a lot of people that haven't realized they don't have a chance to win
it"

It is funny, but on the other hand, Cancellara didn't have a chance of
winning Tuesday's stage.

Speak for yourself. I cannot handicap races,
making me too stupid to discount anyone's chances.
