The stage yesterday of P/N worked well with plenty of signal strength
-- I was able to view it nicely with good quality at 800kbs -- today
was another matter, 100kbs and jumpy/freezing despite the "Settings"
showing I had 800kbs capacity (I am on hi-speed cable).

The Cycling TV folks respond but continue to pretend that there are no
problems.

Best,

I recently got DSL and just watched Cycling TV for the first time,
steered there by this posting. It said I tested at 877kbps and was
feeding me 800kbps. However the info under the picture said 80kbsp (or
something like that), is this the default speed of their free service?

I noticed that when the race was over (Paris-Nice Stage 5, live) they
started running what looked like a cycling version of HSN. It was
showing 781kbps and the picture was much clearer. Is this the kind of
picture quality I can expect if I sign up for their Premium service?

BTW, even the free feed wasn't all that bad. :-)

Free and better than nothing.

No complaints here.

I usually don't watch the live feed, because I want to go out riding.
However, because today was cloudy in the early morning, I did watch the
second half of the live feed at 256KB, and it was just fine. I didn't
try higher speed feeds.

I have cable service also (Adelphia, recently taken over by
Time-Warner), and I'm in Southern California.

My ride was pretty good today, too!
