Wiggins okay despite training accident
Great Britain's Bradley Wiggins has suffered what he describes as a
minor setback ahead of his international track racing return next
week, after suffering a suspected groin strain and cuts to the head in
a bizarre training accident. The Olympic pursuit champion was thrown
over the handlebars of his bike while training on the rollers last
week when a sweat towel got caught in the front wheel causing it to
lock.

"I think this is a minor setback," British track coach Shane Sutton
told The Guardian. "He is in really good shape and given the way he is
going I don't think it will destroy his form. He's a little bit down
about it, but mentally it's about drawing a line and moving on."

Over the handlebars?! Has Wiggins been riding rollers with the guy
who claims to have made a 20 ft skid and gone through his apartment
wall?

Actually he fell over like a sissy and thinks the story about going over the
bars is less embarassing than doing an Arte Johnson without clipping out.

Did the towel have an image of a squirrel on it?
