I hope this trial will once and for all decide who won the tdf last year.
Shouldn't we have a declared winner, before we start the next one?

David Millar. Everyone knows that...

In a perfect world, yes. But it may take a while for them to
disqualify everyone up to Dessel, who is as pure as newly
fallen snow.

When you consider how Operation Puerto is turning out for the
footballers compared to the cyclists it seems clear that the
answer is for cycling to have as much money in it as football.
That is what it would take to clean up the sport.

Well at least Blatter the head of FIFA has asked for all the Puerto docs
to be sent to them so he is trying to take it further....

In yesterday's post-race chat on Rai3, the minister of sport and the drug
prosecutor were both needled about their failing to go after richer sports.

Any chance they are trying to set up precedence and procedure against
the weaker sport before they go after football?

Actually, I think it's just easier going after a sport which has long-time
dope control than initiating a new one. After the UEFA final Wednesday, I
didn't see any evidence that the players were going to be tested after the
match. I tried to get ASO to disclose if they did any testing after the
Paris marathon, with no result. I could go on, but really, no other sport
is tested as much, although track & field seems to get a little scrutiny.

The only problem being many of the relevant blood bags have been
disappeared.

Ah, if only it were that easy. 58 must fall:

59 David Millar (GBr) Saunier Duval 2.04.10

It's Millar's time.

The only way to win is not to play.

Thank you Dr. Falken!

Think of what the next generation has to live with, between The Net and
Hackers.

Though I didn't realize until recently that the latter movie was one of
Ms. Jolie's earliest films.
