I have decided that ARBR is just way too dull to exist like it has been.
Nay, we need some spice and vinegar here to wake us all up. And so I have
decided to go to RBM which is a totally fucked-up cycling newsgroup composed
of mostly nothing but idiots, morons and imbeciles, but they occasionally do
get some good threads going which we can enjoy here on ARBR.

RBM is not nearly so bad as the English and Australian cycling newsgoups (I
consider the Australian group the absolute nadir of all newsgroups) so that
is some consolation to us. All newsgroups are mainly chat rooms for the
cognoscenti. I will ruin any and all chats that I enter into as I hate this
sort of thing on Usenet. It belongs on email, not Usenet. Stay tuned. I
promise you that I will spark up ARBR and give RBM something to wonder about
too.

Oh, Ed, it is SO GOOD to have you back! These idiots have been
running rampant in your absence! Please keep them in line, like you
used to do. God bless you!

ALL TOP POSTERS ARE IDIOTS, NOR DOES HE EVEN INCLUDE ANY OF THE POST TO
WHICH HE IS RESPONDING!

ALL newsgroups are getting worse and worse with every passing year. It won't
be long now and no one with the slightest intelligence will be caught dead
on Usenet. Arpes moi, le deluge!

PS. It is my understanding that Usenet was originally developed by academics
for academics. You can clearly see what happens when the hoi polloi are let
in.

Mr. Ed must not be familiar with rec.bicycles.racing.

It is my impression that the racing group is for those young enough to still
have lots of raging hormones to put up with. We here on ARBR are beyond all
of that, having achieved a sedate and sane lifestyle due to the passing of
the years. I don't know about you, but I would never want to be young again.
