......in Santa Cruz at Electric Sierra Bicycles, just today. Many
thanks to Flash who posted here in reply to my earlier post in which I
asked just where in the heck I could find the USX.......
My wife and I both are thrilled with this trike, and now she wants her
own........

k,
I chose the delta type over the tadpole because I was not comfortable
with having brakes only in the front of the vehicle and no brake on the
trailing wheel.
It felt to me like one could go end-over-end if one were to brake too
hard on the tadpole. Also, I because of shoulder tendonitis, I needed
the true under-seat steering of the USX, rather than the joystick-type
steering on the tadpole.

Sad how Electric Sierra went from many 'bents to a small few.
That was the only shop in town that would touch my Terra
Trike in 2001. I am on the crusade of a car-free city in the
Monterey Bay area, but bike shops usually stick with bikes
as a sideline- not full time- hobby.

Just curious but why did you want that one and not the current EZ Tadpole?
