Oil went over $55. due to a Saudi Arabia terrorist problem earlier
today but no news made it to big news sources, and then someone
mentioned this on the Craigslist blog or I would never have known.

Then only the Do It Yourself TV network had an Earth Day show- 50 ways
to save the earth.

DAMN! They didn't mention bibles....

Thanks for the Carlin reminder. About 99.99% of people
think Earth Day is just a speck in time, go on with the latest and
greatest transportation, chemical, whatever! I am guilty of that just
adding to the high speed roadway- in a car, online, traveling,
whatever.

If this was another group, restoring a big block Chrysler, tweaking my
428 cid Mustang, or giving advise about impressive Jaguar slalom
handling would be appropriate. I thought mentioning this day might be
more an appropriate reminder than veering off to polotics or bibles.

Poetry and mention of styrofoam is appropriate! Poking fun at the use
of styrofoam makes me laugh at myself; since I gave up using a
styrofoam as a floorboard in my velomobile and crammed it into the
doors and side panels in my Ford. Instant Monster Garage TV re-use of
materials and Audio sound deadening as suggested on-line: but it did
start from the art store to a bicycle!

I did not know damn was one of the 7 deadly words, sorry 'bout that;
next time I will type DARN!

OK, you mentioned Earth Day, Saudi terrorism in connection with the
escalating price of oil (omitting that we're winning that war), and the
Bible... but at least you didn't bring up politics! Uh-huh.

Now, if you'd mentioned beer you'd have been eyebrow deep in fertilizer.
Well, maybe not. There's an interesting idea for a lukewarm soup with
save-the-Earth potential in there somewhere...

I completely forgot about Earth Day. Will she ever forgive me?

7. Sex: None.
Well, in fact there is plenty of this, largely because of the lack of
money, trade, banks, art, or anything else that might keep all the
non-existent people of the Universe occupied.
