Who is Leif? My God, another MAN has shown up on this newsgroup. It is
almost enough to restore my faith in humanity.

Now the question arises, where is Jon Meinecke, the conscience of ARBR? He
is AWOL as always like the mouse that he is. Maybe he will imitate Tom
Sherman and get off of this newsgroup entirely in disgust once and for all.
Who needs these miserable trembling mice who are never here when the
occasion arises?

Going to Angletech next week (8/22--). I will try to write something
useful about this for this forum.

dolan should be capitalized.

But what are their prices? Any less than $1000. bikes? I thought not! They
are only into super expensive bikes.

I do not trust bike shops who come out with their own bikes but continue to
sell other bikes which they have somehow "improved" - at a price of course.
Either be a bike shop or be a manufacturer. I now have an even worse opinion
of Angle Tech.

Woodland Park, where Angle Tech is now located, is a dump north of Colorado
Springs and you would not want to be caught dead there.

Thanks for the observations. When are you heading out to Angletech? I
look forward to your comparison of the bike to the GRR, Tour Easy, and
Formula.

I visited the Rans factory last week and rode the Stratus XP for about
45 minutes. This is the sweetest bike I have ever ridden. I am on a
Challenge Mistral at this point. The bike was 10/10 comfortable for
that ride. I did flats and rolling hills. Climbing was quick and easy.
I tested the brakes and stability on descending several admittedly
short hills: first class. I rode a V2 Formula for about 10 minutes. The
factory rep told me that this bike had low end components. It deserves
another ride with a better set up. My plan is to go to Angletech in
Woodland Park and do a head to head with a GRR, Tour Easy, Formula and
Stratus XP over hill and dale for at least one hour each. Having had my
Mistral for a while, I now have a much better idea of what I want and
how to ride a bent. BTW, the Mistral is a wonderful bike.

Larry Varney is playing it close to the hip here on ARBR as he knows I am
lying in wait for him. He knows he had best stick on BROL where he can have
things his own way. Here on ARBR, a free unmoderated forum, it is another
story where he knows he has to contest with significant others who may or
may not agree with him.

Larry Varney is a valued on-topic contributor to any forum he chooses
to grace. I offer as proof his presence on the moderated front you
scorn.

I don't think a moderated front would put up with Mr. Ed when he gets
on his wind wagon, which is never far away even when he does manage to
post something on topic.

If Ed Dolan trewly wishes to be the so-called 'champion poster' to
ARBR he needs to review his history, discount the multitude of
off-topic posts he has generated, and refigure his numbers.

I can't believe someone who lives in this century doesn't recognize
very common acronims. eddie says he reads several newspapers which I
know refer to ADD and ADHD with regularity. But then Ed doesn't really
read, his giant intellect is beyond that.

Mr. Ed, king of the generalizers. Of coarse, of course.

Larry Varney is an ornery old coot just as you and I are. If I wanted to
post pabulum on BROL I assure you I would know how to do it. But that kind
of boredom is not for me.

I always try to be controversial. Isn't that what newsgroups are all about?

My off-topic posts are my finest efforts. They redound to the everlasting
glory of ARBR. They will be around long after the on-topic posts are
revealed for the irrelevant trivia that they are. Why don't you read Tom
Sherman if you want a definition of trivia. Or better yet, read Jon
Meinecke. He is the ultimate trivial poster.

I just refuse to look up anything. I have nothing but contempt for those who
abbreviate. The only abbreviations which should occur on this newsgroup are
those common to recumbents. Beyond that, we are dealing with idiots who do
not have a clue about how to write intelligently for a general public.

Fuck you too freakinxmas. Maybe you and Slugger (upyerbumbum) could exchange
turds. You are both a couple of cowards to hide behind user names. But that

Freaking is the kind of scum bag that can destroy a newsgroup. Don't believe
me? Go to the Australian bicycle group which has dozens of idiots like
freaking. Freaking has nothing but shit (turds) and sex (freaking) on his
pea size brain.

Newsgroups are for morons and idiots like freaking anyway of course. If you
are here you need to question what it is that you are doing here. As for me,
I am just slumming to see how the other half lives. Every time an idiot like
freaking posts his blather, I am justified.

Johnny Rebike is Ed Gin who totally destroyed this newsgroup last winter.
There is no one left here now except idiots and morons. Even Sherman the Tom
left. I guess I will have to let Jim McNaa know that Ed Gin is back and

Nope, you are a newsfeeds freak and that right there tells us all we will
ever have to know about you. Use your real name or be gone. Only criminals

I have already told this group several times that I am only here slumming to
see how the other half lives. I will soon be gone permanently at which point
you will only have one another to kick around. Please stay tuned for my 3rd
and final leave taking which I promise you will be a stormy one. I never go
quietly into that good night.

All newgroups are for idiots without exception. I have looked in on many
other newsgroups and they are even worse than ARBR.

A newsgroup (forum) MUST have a moderator. There is no other way. The
moderator must be at least as intelligent as anyone posting to the group and
must have a sixth sense about what will fly and what will not fly.

I am well aware that most of my posts would not pass muster. But if I wanted
to post to a proper forum I assure you I would know how to do it with nary a
problem.

Well I guess this is the point several posters have been trying to
make. An unmoderated forum has more freedom than a moderated one, but
can be ruined pretty easily. As we can only control our own input it
behooves us to each be our own moderator. When one knowingly sends out
mostly posts that one knows 'would not pass muster' then one becomes
considered a troll, and not worth much respect. Most (I think
correctly) will stop communicating with trolls. You are sometimes an
exception because you can be amusing. Still your voluminous posting
has contributed to the continuing downfall of this group. If you
cannot see that then I needn't point out your short-sightedness.

It is not voluminous posting that destroys a newsgroup, but criminal vandal
posting.

However, any human group will always require a modertor (referee) with some
authority0in orfer fro it to be anythign other than an unruly mob.

Are you playing with me to get even on mispellings? These two lines
look like they were typed by different persons.

You may have already reposted a 'spell-checked' version, but I gotta
say it appears your fingers (at least) appear dyslexic.

Yes, please see the corrected version.

I think fast so I need to type fast too so I do not lose my train of
thought. All I need is to get the gist of the word and/or the thought down
and then I laboriously correct for gram and spelling. I do not spend much
time at all refining what I've written because there is no one here, except
Wayne LoGo, who appreciates fine writing. Poets are all about words and fine
writing. It is a shame that he cannot get his mind out of the gutter.

If you do not think the above is true, then I invite you to attend a Vermont

I believe this is a paramount post by Slugger (upyerbumbum) and tells us all
we will ever have to know about him. He is a man of the groin. That means he
has excrement and sex on his pea sized brain all the time. But what does
that mean for the rest of us?

Well, it means in the first instance that he that he is psychologically
disabled. He has been arrested at an infantile level. Who knows what caused
it. Maybe his toilet training did not proceed on schedule. May be got
fixated on his parents sexually. Who knows? The bottom line is that he did
not become a full adult with an adult's interests. He is permanently
retarded at some childish and/or juvenile level.

Now , the question arises, should we pity him or condemn him? I am in favor
of condemning him because I always go for the jugular. However, some of you,
more kind hearted than me, might want to pity him. That is OK too. The only
way to think of someone like Slugger (upyerbumbum) is that he never became
an adult. Even though he may be 50 years of age, think of him as being a 13
year old who likes words like masturbate and turd. He is a juvenile and no
doubt giggles like a teenager every time he writes them.

But he is also from Ontario and that right there may explain a lot. He has
been brain washed by the Canadian liberal media (CBC) and reduced to an
infantile state. That is the greatest argument against liberalism that I can
think of. You do not want to end up like Slugger (upyerbumbum) posting to a
newsgroup all about "masturbate" and "turd" - do you?

We all of us need to ask ourselves at this point if Slugger (upyerbumbum) is
into nothing but masturbation. I mean, does anyone want to post to someone
who is constantly jerking off. I suspect Slugger has rotted his brain from
all the jerking off that he is doing. The question is should he be pitied or
condemned? Screw it! I will condemn him for the dirty rotten scoundrel that
he is.

Here you have a crazy Canadian liberal bastard who is into nothing but
masturbation and bringing disgrace on his nation. He is from the Province of
Ontario which may be all that some of you will ever need to know.

Notice how he also has excrement on his pea sized brain. Slugger is just
full of shit and sperm. He is man of the groin. Can't you just picture him -
a total slob covered in cum and excrement. Beware of liberalism Canadian
style or you will end up like Slugger (upyerbumbum).
