I think there is a special newsgroup that is set up for just this purpose.
In any event, we may soon expect a Tom Sherman rejoinder as he likes to show
his wit at these kind of posts. Mr. Sherman is best at being the industrious
civil engineer that he is and should not indulge himself in trying to be
witty and/or humorous. He should leave that to the Great Ed Dolan.

Mr. Sherman is one of my only friends I have ever made on Usenet. He is not
only civil, but he is absolutely correct in the manner of his posts. I have
regarded him as my mentor from the first moment I came on Usenet. Most
scientific types are into accuracy but are not into literacy. Therefore, it
was a pleasure to make his acquaintance. Moreover, I have always found Mr.
Sherman to treat others FAIRLY (although he sometimes edits my posts too
severely). It is a blooming miracle to encounter someone so intelligent and
honest on Usenet.
I am just waiting for someone to take Mr. Sherman on. He will find me his
greatest defender although he is more than capable of defending himself. Mr.
Sherman is Mr. ARBR himself. I am merely a gadfly buzzing about this group
ever striving to create some mayhem. I am superfluous; Mr. Sherman is not!
Mr. Sherman and I have been at loggerheads over almost everything (except
recumbents). That does not matter to me. What does matter to me is that
civility be maintained. I prize civilization above all else. I am often
ashamed of myself at the way I go on with some others on these newsgroups. I
hope everyone realizes that it is all just fun and games with me. I just
love to tweak others. Think of me as the buffoon of ARBR and you will not be
far wrong.
