Elsewhere the Longbikes Slipstream was being discussed and I noted that I tended to believe in theory that the remote-steering setup should provide the best steering feel overall, even for an over-seat-steering LWB. Problem is I don't know any.... Are there any made now? Were there ever any commercially made? ~

It's typically USS, /but/ there's a handcycle conversion for it which effectively transforms it to OSS. This suggests it wouldn't be beyond the realms of possibility to convert the normal foot driven one to OSS, and perhaps in a similar manner the Tagun bike. I'm just guessing about converting them though... A geared reduction might have worked, but that would have made an already premium priced bike even more expensive. The out of production Cambie Recumboni X2 tandem had remote OSS: <http://www.dantele.net/tobi/lt/re-x2.jpg >. [2] [1] Once Longbikes developed their own "low-slop" U-joints.
