Regular physical activity can help protect you from serious diseases
like obesity, heart disease, cancer, mental illness, diabetes and
arthritis. Riding your bike, doesn't matter what style or model,
regularly is one of the best ways to tackle the health problems
associated with a sedentary lifestyle.

Cycling is a great way to exercise and achieve healthy levels of
fitness and activity. Cycling is also fun, cheap and good for the
environment. Using your bike to get around is a great way to stay
active as part of your everyday activities.

To converse with like minded people who are likely mentally ill, yes!

Roger has certainly got that right!

Anyone but me offended by Tom Sherman's assumption of airs of superiority on
this newsgroup?

He is your very humble civil engineer who is ever in the services of his
superiors. He does know one or two things about reucmbents that most of the
rest of us do not know, but that is no reason for us to grant him any
special privileges.

The most seriously deranged individual I have even encountered on this
newsgroup is Tom Sherman. The fact that he is intelligent just makes him all
that much more dangerous. He is a liberal ideologue of the worst stripe and
not far removed from being a socialist and a communist.

God, don't we all just hate liberals like Tom Sherman! Traitors to the US
and cowards who will not defend this country against its enemies. This poor
mentally ill slob actually thinks the Islamists have something to be said in
their favor.

Unfortunately, all the cycling in the world won't protect you from
all-around stupidity - which you prove every time you post. I suggest you
exercise your body less and your brain more. After all, we already have
enough ignorant assholes infesting this group without the addition of
yourself.

Another soul mate (Eco - a Yank Bastard) for Pete (a Scotch Bastard) and
Buck (an English Bastard). Now we have 3 amigos who never know what they are
saying nor do they ever care to communicate to anyone either. Aye, they are
an incestuous lot who are only into themselves.

Physically active people die like flies all the time. In fact, dying is
closely correlated with age. For all the idiots here, the correlation is
that the older you get the more likely it is that you are going to die
sooner rather than later. By the time you are make it into your 80's it is a
dead certainly that you do not have many years left. Common Sense 101.

The trick is to stay healthy for as long as you can of course, but cycling
will not necessarily help you to live longer. Seeing a doctor regularly
will.

Up to a point: arbr has had /plenty/ of illustration of some seriously

Has everyone taken note of the above signature of this idiot from Scotland?
He needs to apply some medical physics to himself as there has GOT to be
something seriously wrong with his head.

Another nut from the UK! Amazing how all these assholes seem to agree with
one another all the time, except when they get on the subject of helmets of
course. You really have to get to Ireland before some sanity and common
sense kicks in. Fucking Brits!
