Subject: New Year's Greeting to ARBR from Ed Dolan!

Yea, you know that you are all a bunch of idiots, scoundrels and jerks. But
Hells Bells, I am one too. However, I am also a genius and the rest of you
aren't. Therein lies all our difficulties.
If you would only give me my due all would be right with the world. Yea, we
could then greet 2007 with great joy and happiness. But no! You will NOT
give me my due as your resident genius. All I ask of you is that you bow
down before me not only as a Great Personage but also as a Great Saint - and
that you NEVER disagree with Me about anything. It is no easy thing to be
not only Great, but to also be a Great Saint.
I truly believe that none of you have any clue as to who is among you. I
will not always be with you. If you do not appreciate me now, then when? I
cannot wait forever for what is my due. Nay, I will leave you to yourselves
and then where will you be? You will be back to discussing recumbents and
other trivial bike issues which Great Ones like Myself have no interest in
whatsoever.
Yea, I believe I will take my leave of ARBR in 2007. What will you do when
you no longer have the Great Ed Dolan to kick around anymore? That
pip-squeak Tom Sherman is no substitute for Me! You have been warned.
And so to Hell with the lot of you! ARBR is the worst newsgroup that ever
saw the light of day. I curse the day I ever set eyes on you. Nay, it would
have been better if I had never existed than to be saddled with ARBR. I
never did anything to deserve ARBR but the rest of you sure did lots to
deserve Me. But My Greatness is wasted on you and the less said about My
Saintliness before such a bunch of slobs as yourselves the better!
Come on now ... when have you ever received a more heartfelt New Year's
greeting?
