Readers,
I have no intention of responding to each and every one of the many
cross-posted entries from this new troll. I don't have a particular
issue with the publication of my name, address and telephone number,
since that information is a matter of public record, however, I do
question the motive and intention of this troll for recklessly
soliciting readers to SEND THREATS/HATE MAIL/BOMBS/ANTHRAX/C4/ETC.
(read commit a felony). In reply, I issue this public challenge to the
foolhardy scoundrel responsible. Be bold ... be daring, but most of
all be proud! Come forth and reveal your true identity. Muster the
testicular fortitude to post YOUR OWN name, address and phone number
via YOUR OWN (real) email address. If you are unwilling to do so, then
be gone ... you coward!!!
It would appear from these most recent posts that Alan Erskine has yet
another troll to pursue, assuming that this new troll is not Alan
himself, of course. Alan initially assailed Ed Dolan publicly whereas
he threatened me personally in private emails. In defiance of Alan's
ultimatum, Ed Dolan persists in posting to the Usenet newsgroups
unabated. It would appear that Ed is equally "impressed" as I was with
Alan's adolescent bravado and failed attempts of intimidation. I am
reasonably certain that I am in compliance with my ISPs terms of
service, so no worries there. Furthermore, as Alan is well aware, in
his campaign of censure, he is a hapless crusader of one. As Alan
wrote, "If people complain enmass, the ISP's will act. It's only when
a few people (or none) complain that ISP's don't do anything."
Regardless, Alan fails to comprehend that in this day and age of
throwaway email addresses and a multiplicity of ISPs soliciting
customers, thwarting and frustrating self-appointed net-nannies like
Alan Erskine is mere child's play. As concerns Ed Dolan, Alan Erskine
and this most recent troll, I've grown weary of these foolish newsgroup
spats and find that ARBR has unfortunately disintegrated into a forum
of little value. I've become increasingly less inclined to waste my
time and energy entertaining cyber-weirdos the likes of Ed Dolan, Alan
Erskine and whomever this cowardly new troll happens to be. These
individuals all need to grow up and get a life, already!!! I'll drop
in from time to time to see if there is any change, but as for right
now, I'm just about ready to pull the plug.

I imagine that Jim McNaa could come up with several names of people
who are at least if not more likely to be the author of the Johnny
NoCom posts (not to mention the HRS blogger) than Ed Gin.
Furthermore, I know for a fact (as an eyewitness) that certain posts
that Ed Dolan claimed to be by Ed Gin were actually by someone else.

I will go by whatever Jim has to say on the subject, not you.

Why would not Ed Gin then come onto the group and explain himself. That he
never did, did he? You can bet if I were being accused of some despicable
conduct on a group I would be quick to respond to defend myself - and so
would you!
