Here it is a brand New Year, and the BROLie message board is still down and out! IT IS A GREAT WAY TO START THE YEAR HERE FOR HRS, YOUR CUTTING EDGE RECUMBENT BLOG IMFORMATION CENTER!!!!! http://highracers.blogspot.com/2005/12/hrs-staff-member-succeeds-shutting.html The staff of HRS is proud to announce today one of our senior staff members managed to take control of the BROLie message board server and shut it down. A Full TKO knockout! According to our dedicated HRS specialist, "It was easy to do. The idiots at BROLie never back up data. They use cheap software running on a refurbished Atari computer from Goodwill. Any monkey out there can shut em down anytime day or night." After the infamous FOG message board got hacked, CNBC reported that prescription drugs sales, with Prozac topping the list, skyrocketed throughout the USA. Apparently a large percentage of FOGS in America had to medicate themselves into a stupor when they lost use of the BROLie message board, and their daily shot of "mental masturbation." For his dedicated work FOKing with the BROLie servers, this savvy monkey will be rewarded with a rare vintage Sunset recumbent lowracer and a large supply of bananas. At HRS we take care of our staff members when they perform valuable services for humanity.

I am only an unintentional contributor to the HRS blog [1], but I am honored that the author(s) consider a vintage Sunset Lowracer to be a superior bicycle and used the monkey at the keyboard link I posted. Johnny Sunset wrote ... What will the BROL regulars do? According to Brian, exercise a little patience. That's all. Here's the latest from IHPVA.org in Brian's own words... We have successfully switched servers!!! It will take up to 48 hours for the DNS change to propogate so you may see the old stuff for the next day or so. We very much want to thank Nick at Infoblvd.net for saving our butts on this one. He put in about 15 hours of work at no extra charge and manually rebuilt all of our databases since the two servers wouldn't talk to each other. So... Remain patient for the next day or two. 'BentRider is coming back! JimmyMac

Shame on you HRS Blog guys. You're upsetting the Stepford wives, but now that Brybry has his bbs up again the masses have found their opiate and are again approaching a state of bliss. ----== Posted via Newsfeeds.Com - Unlimited-Unrestricted-Secure Usenet News==---- http://www.newsfeeds.com The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! >100,000 Newsgroups ---= East/West-Coast Server Farms - Total Privacy via Encryption =---

I am sure he will take up right where he left off - urging everyone to kill file me. I know he is an old dog and cannot learn any new tricks, any more than I can. Regards, Ed Dolan - Minnesota

At HRS we take care of our staff members > when they perform valuable services for humanity. Readers, What we hav e here is more BULLSHIT from those wh do it best. Trubeliever? There's just got to be a joke there somewhere. These demented toddlers are pathetic. They have delude themselves into believing that the entire world revolves around them and their deplorable creation ... the reprehensible HRS blog. This is their claim to fame? Theirs is a very small world ... a world that they want for you to become part and parcel of as an audience. They have cross-posted their disgusting drivel all over the interent, even to non-cycling newsgroups and to other countries in an effort to lure in readers. I hope that they are successful. Why? So that as many as possible can witness just how warped and depraved these persons are. I applaud their efforts of self-destruction and welcome the scorn that they have merited. As if their reputation are not sullied enough, they want to be recognized for having taken down BROL. Do not be misled. Ask yourself ... if they were responsible, would they be so stupid as to go public and risk prosecution by confession? Here is what Bryan Ball had to say in this regard... MAJOR PROBLEMS AT 'BENTRIDER!!! Yes, we are aware of our numerous server issues. Our server host made a major error and we've lost gobs and gobs of data. They also failed to back up our server since April of 2004. We have most of the data on our hard drives but it will be a major project to say the least. We have been living in a temporary location for the last few months in preparation to move into our new home in January. Therefore, we've been making due with dial-up Internet service. So... We don't have any message board back-ups since we moved. Right now we are being told that our old server was "decommissioned" and we are hoping that it will be found and "recommissioned" before all the data is lost. If that happens, life will return to normal in a few days. If we're too late to save it, then a major reconstruction will commence. Please try to be aware that Stacie and I will be more than a bit occupied over the next few days and be patient. We're quite frankly a bit concerned about how much this will damage our livelihood at this point. If you send us an e-mail about the server odds are that it will not be answered. Our e-mail connectivity has also been affected. Please keep an eye on this space. We apologize for the inconvenience, especially in light of your recent generosity with our new donation-based fund raising system. JimmyMac
