Subject: The Death of ARBR
We are presently witnessing the death of ARBR due to just one poster, Ed
Gin. Tom Sherman will not defend this group due to cowardice. Neither will
any of the rest of you for one reason or another. Only Jim McNaa, Nget
and myself have spoken up. Therefore, I conclude that ARBR truly deserves to
die. Ed Gin and I will kill it. No newbies will come on board. They detect
the odor of rot, decay and death even if the rest of you don't.

Ed Gin and I will kill this group and it will be good riddance to the lot of
us. ARBR does not deserve to exist if we can't get rid of one obnoxious
poster. Jon Meinecke, who has ever professed a concern for the health of the
group, will not defend against an interloper like Ed Gin anymore than Tom
Sherman will. It will be my pleasure along with Ed Gin to kill this group.
Who wants to reside with cowards.

S & M? Obviously, this is NOT the type of alt.* group I had previously
surmised...although I suppose an argument could be made that
"recumbent" is certainly a traditional position for such activities. ;)

Makes those discussions of speed and endurance take on a whole new
meaning, doesn't it? (Although the use of helmets for safety makes even
less sense...)

You have got that quite wrong Guy. I am not going to go away and neither is
Ed Gin. You will have to decide sooner or later who is the instigator. By
your silence you are indicating approval of Ed Gin. However, to your credit,
you have so far called him an arse and a fuckwit, but only indirectly.
Indirectly does not work. He needs to be confronted directly by you and the
entire newsgroup. He steals names and parrots other's posts. He violates
every rule of Usenet. Ed Gin is nothing but a scoundrel.

Deflate my ego? You have got to be kidding! God Himself could not deflate

If you have not yet worked out that this is precisely what he wants

Ed Gin is not going to go away. What other newsgroups would have him except
the dunderheads here at ARBR. This group is dying and no one cares. And it
is being killed by Ed Gin because Jim and I are not going to go away either.
What does it take to get you involved. Must he steal your name via a forged
header too before you wake up.

I don't care if Dolan goes away or not, really - at least some of what
he posts is on-topic, and when he goes into one of his interminable

Some people's tolerance for boredom is high. And invariably,
someone responds well before that threshold anyway. As in
the classic bear joke, it seems clear some people "doesn't come
(back) here for the hunting"... [1]

Engaging the incorrigible only encourages them. The kerb appeal
of the newsgroup suffers as does S/N ratio for undoubtedly
differing-to-the-beholder determinations of S and N,-- not to
mention S&M. [2]

Jon Meinecke, meet Tom Sherman, the only two dorks in the known universe who
resort to footnotes on ARBR. He just does this to piss me off.

By the way Jon, have you complained about Ed Gin yet to his newsreader
service provider. I believe Jim has now provided all the essential
information you need. The heart of your complaint should be Ed Gin's use of
forged headers and his mindless trolling. Why not show some guts for a
change and do your duty as one who has always been concerned about the
health of ARBR. Or is it OK with you if others steal and forge and use false
names.

Others can get in on this too now that Jim has told us what we need to know
about Ed Gin.

Right you are Nget. These fucking Monkey Islanders will not even include my

"Rode" should be "ridden."

Tom Sherman has quoted to this newsgroup one bromide after another over the
years. His holier than thou attitude sickens me now that he has shown his
true colors. He will not defend this group when it is under attack by Ed
Gin. Neither will you for that matter. Your "slow fat asses" comment says it
all.

Ed Gin I consider a criminal and I have no use for him whatsoever. But Tom
Sherman is not an Ed Gin, that much I do know. Tom has honor, but he needs
to defend this group of which he has been an important part for 5 years. His
silence is deafening!

Surely there are racing forums where you and Ed Gin could find a home.
Recumbent cyclists by and large are not into speed and we do not enjoy
talking about shit like that.

By the way, this drivel, which all comes from Ed Gin, is going to destroy
ARBR. Is that what you want too?

Just for the record, I do not note any newbies coming to this group anymore
nor are there any women left here either. There are only a few of us old
veterans left. ARBR is dying right in front of our eyes and no one gives a
damn. Ed Gin and I are going to kill the group. But who cares?

Poor Fred still does not have a clue as to what is going on here. I suggest
you join Arne who also has never had a clue about anything either.

Ed Gin engages in criminal behavior on this group and Fred just can't see
