So anyone have this book? opinions? I'm a beginner to recumbents and
am saving for my first recumbent trike.

If you are refering to "The Recumbent Bicycle" by Gunnar Fehlau, I
borrowed a copy from the local library not long ago and my opinion is
it's a good book worth having around. Has pretty good information about
recumbents in general.

I bought that book, it is fascinating and informative. I like it a
lot. Even if it gives me an itchy wallet...

I have that same itchy feeling now! The best way I can think to get rid
of it is to buy my first bent.
