Subject: Tom "Johnny Sunset" Sherman?
Can anyone in this world tell me what is wrong with just plain Tom Sherman
as a signature? "Johnny Sunset" is apparently some kind of tribute to the
worst criminal vandal troll that ARBR was ever afflicted with, Johnny NoCom
(Ed Gin of fucking Chicagoland).

But Tom Sherman has never had an ounce of sense about how to compose his
signature. They have all been incredibally stupid. Well, this is what comes
of too many engineering courses in college and not enough liberal arts
courses.

I see that the execrable Ed Gin showed up for the 2007 Recumbent Rally in
Stevens Point, Wisconsin. This is a Hostel Shoppe sponsored event every
summer. Ed Gin once had some good ideas for constructing fairings for
various recumbents, but he is a criminal vandal troll. He and Tom Sherman
are bosom buddies. One is at least halfway intelligent and the other is a
Mongoloid Chinaman. Go figure!

I urge Tom Sherman to get a sensible signature like mine.

Regards.

I was replying to the Usenet newsgroups where the original post was
made with the exception of the Aus and UK forums.

Is not Tom Sherman a regular poster to RBT?

But I want my messages going to all the cycling newsgroups because they are
all blighted and benighted. I feel obligated to bring some intelligence and
some good humor to all you poor slobs. Yea, I mean to brighten your
otherwise dismal days. No charge. It is just part of my noblesse oblige
which I bestow freely on my inferiors.

Yea, that is the only reason he does it! McNamara has been around Usenet
forever and knows better.

Good answer! But I suspect Mr. Press is only interested in the kind of
trivia that Tom Sherman can supply, you know, all that good shit about
bicycle materials and various other nonsensical tangents.

Why are you posting to rec.bicycles.tech?
Why are you top posting?
Why are you posting at all?

There is nothing wrong with a plain signature but there is equally nothing
wrong with a ridiculous one either. If he wants to be St. Eddie, then so be
it. You and I aren't going to stop him.

My favorite saint is St. James the Infirm, founder of St. Jame's Infirmiry.

So it comes down to personal choice.
