Anyone on this group still think Tom Sherman counts for anything? If you do, you badly need to read any of his recent posts. He has trivialized himself to the point where we can now disregard him entirely and treat him with the contempt he has so richly earned. At least, that is what I will do from now on. Tom Sherman lived for years off of this newsgroup based on some very elementary knowledge of recumbents and their history. An half-wit could have done that. It is time we stop humoring this altogether humorless jerk. I will now ride herd on his every post and show him up for the nerd that he is. The days when I could say anyting good about him are now gone forever. Assholes like him only deserve assholes like me. He will now learn what it is to have an unrelenting enemy on this group who gives no quarter. There would be nothing more to live for. I have given up the vino. Way too many calories in it and I need to lose about 20 lb. this summer. By the way, I like my hermetic existence. If I didn't, I would do something about it. Growing old is mandatory. Growing up is optional. Ed Gin, beside being a criminal vandal who destroyed this newsgroup, was also a spamming troll whose mindless brain was permanently anchored in the gutter. Why a Chinaman like him would have Ed for a first name is a complete mystery. I think if I were a Chinaman, I would want a Chinese name. "The trick in writing in order to be understood is to run it past an idiot. If the idiot understands what you have written, then you have written well. He could just as well have just the term he often used in the past ... long-winded. Ed can't seem to make up his mind about my writing skills, not that it matters, but, in the thread referred to above, here is what I wrote in this regard. Much like a politician, Ed Dolan contradicts himself constantly, changing his mind with the change in prevailing winds. Here is what Ed wrote of my writing talents in the past ... "Jim, I am saving your post to My Documents. It is a masterpiece! I admire your style enormously. I am taking notes and hope someday to be able to emulate you." Please also note that Ede addressed me directly something for which e has castigated me over and over stating that one should not write directly to another since the world can read what is written here. Obviously Ed doesn't even play by his "own set of rules". The man is a walking talking contradiction. The conundrum continues. Jim McNaa P.S. Ed is pleonastic in his writing. In providing an explanation, I'll not give Ed the opportunity to bitch. Pleonastic is defined as tediously prolonged reiteration of the same concept in different words. McNaa has learned from my instructions to him to stop being so prolix in his messages, He has now got them down to where a normal person can read them and not be bamboozled by them. Don't believe me? Go back on this newsgroup and read his messages where he takes Ed Gin to task by going on and on to such an extent that no one in their right mind could ever read them. He did this to Tom Sherman and myself too, but I think he has finally come to realize that overkill is far worse than underkill. Now he needs to work on his content more since he has finally gotten his form into shape. All that is required for content is that you think before you write. Ed, Your name isn't "Hoyle" and you neither make nor enforce the rules here. Jim McNaa P.S. One man's condemnation is another man's whining. It is never acceptable to write a message to a newsgroup to just one person. Others will read what is written and therefore one should keep this in mind and be inclusive, not exclusive. >> > Tis about time that Dolan admitted you into the ranks of the many that >> > preceded you. Actually, Tom Sherman has cared in the past what I thought of him and I doubt that anything has changed. After all, I am the same as I have always been. But Tom Sherman has changed. Tom, Tis about time that Dolan admitted you into the ranks of the many that preceded you. Welcome. It appears now that Ed has no one else to revere except himself, but that should come as no surprise. The embittered old curmudgeon is driven to insult all who post here and in the process he alienates the very audience from whom he expects to garner attention and recognition. Tom, you have been reclassified from your previous stature as Mr. ARBR himself, a recumbent expert and Ed's only worthy cerebral adversary to ... well you know since you've read all of Dolan's crap yourself. Much of what Ed said of you sounds so familiar since it has also been said of me and countless others ... countless others who could care less because in the greater scheme of things, what Dolan says matters simply because Dolan himself matters not. If and when he ever comes to this realization, there will be no meaning left in his otherwise meaningless life. Tom Sherman has reduced himself to his present status (a nonentity) by his incredibly stupid and trivial posts. In fact, he has not said anything that anyone would want to read in the past year. He is now only a very unfunny clown. In short, a sad case that had best to filed away and forgotten about. Why he continues to hang around this newsgroup is a mystery to all but himself. Jim McNaa is nothing but a broken phonograph record - same old shit over and over. But the one thing he can never overcome is his whininess. Tom Sherman is an asshole but Jim McNaa is a whinny asshole. Neither one of them is worthy of so Great a personage as Myself. I leave the both of them in the dust like the barking dogs that they are. It means I am going to treat you with the contempt you have earned for yourself with your trivial, meaningless reks to this newsgroup. You show nothing but contempt for the group when you so post. What you sow, so shall you reap. I will now step on your posts regardless of subject so that you will learn what it is like to be treated the way your good buddy Johnny NoCom (Ed Gin) treated everyone else here on ARBR some time ago. We are seeing Ed Dolan at his highest point. After a life of being a pissant that everyone about him ignored, he has found a 'life' that he can imagine as larger than it is. Any sane person would have a fantasy life that included someone on the spectrum from Ann gret to Catherine Zeta Jones, but ED has only himself as the unmasked avenger. He wasted his life and now he wastes his fantasy life. No one tell him that it is pretty hard to worry about a foul mouthed pissant. Curtis L. Russell Odenton, MD (USA) Just someone on two wheels...

Anyone want to take Curtis Russell as an arbiter on pop culture, let alone sex objects? > He wasted his life and now he wastes his fantasy life. No one tell him > that it is pretty hard to worry about a foul mouthed pissant. Tom Sherman is foul mouthed is his way; I shall be foul mouthed in my way. Previously posted, but more applicable than ever: "Curtis Russell has kill-filed me and does not read any of my messages in the original. Yet, he sees fit to make comments about me. Just how reprehensible can one get? He is nothing but another Cletus Lee. But Curtis knows no bounds. He likes to speculate on my death as if he is not going to die himself. I assure him that he is going to die and as far as I am concerned, the sooner the better. I simply can't stand those who want to comment on messages yet never read the original messages nor quote them. Just how big a scoundrel is it possible to be! Scoundrels like Curtis Russell are beneath contempt. He kill-files and so he does not know what is going on in the group and yet he wants to comment himself. Just how despicable can you get?" - Ed Dolan Regards, Ed Dolan the Great - Minnesota aka Saint Edward the Great - Order of the Perpetual Sorrows - Minnesota
