Subject: What Groups does Ed Dolan the Great Monitor?
I am providing fair warning that Ed Dolan the Great will not only be
monitoring ARBR as always but also RBS. I do not see any reason why RBS
should not be the premier bicycle newsgroup as it deals with the broadest
and most general issues. RBM is a hodge-podge of idiots and I will only
occasionally look in on that group to see who is playing the fool of the
moment.

I urge those of you who would like to discuss general bicycle issues to post
to RBS. Those of you who want to discuss rear derailleurs and helmets should
stay on RBM where no one will take you seriously except other fools like
yourselves. Trivia is for trivial minds after all. I hope to get RBS
upgraded for serious discussion of serious bicycle issues. Posts of a
general nature will henceforth be dragged over to RBS by me where hopefully
we can lose some of the idiots of RBM.

Sorry about the typo. I meant "than" of course rather than "that"

By the way I can see no reason why the same hiking trails/mountain bike
debate, with the same basic content, should be spread across so many
threads cross-posted to several newsgroups and you (Ed Dolan) are the
priy reason why.

Overwhelmed by a distended sense of self-importance, you have deluded
yourself into believing that your every word is a nourishing to the
cerebral appetite whereas most of us have long since arrived concluded
that your vacuous rhetoric is as inspirational as the read of the
congressional record!

Another thing ... until you can produce a deed, you should refrain from
referring to trails as "YOURS", as in "my sacred trails".

This is only temporary until we can restore some health to ARBR. As you well
know, it was effectively destroyed by the criminal vandal troll Ed Gin a
couple of winters ago and it has never recovered. As soon as ARBR seems
healthy again, I will cease and desist from the cross posting of threads.

I have cut down considerably from my former profligacy.

All hikers get very possessive about any trails they have hiked. That is
because they have spent so much time on them, unlike mountain bikers who
just hurry though and never have any idea where they are at.
