Subject: What is it?
Hi all,

while looking at options for putting a full faring kit on my trice I
came across this

http://www.blueskydsn.com/kit.html

has anyone any idea if it is an electric only, electric assist or some
other deal.

I have the Pod velomobile kit made in Freedom,CA., by Easy Racers. The
cost of $3000.+ $1500. shipping puts it out of reach to most! I am
putting an electic assist on mine but it is not necessary.

The pictured Aerocoupe is electric-only... there's not enough room to
fit cranks, much less swing a cat. k Murphy (aka Blue Sky Design)
has built a couple with an auxiliary lower pan than allows foot
cranking:

With the lower pan, it will fit a trice just fine, but if you're in the
UK, shipping may be prohibitive.

True the shipping will be a killer however at $1600 for the kit - plus
some shipping is much cheaper over all than a new velomobile. If it
takes the work out of it it may happen :)

Thanks

By looking at the cutaway image on the specifications page it doesn't appear
to have pedals and is instead electric only

AFAIK it is electric only, designed for e-power racing. I think th
idea is that you supply your own chassis, motors etc. However,
understand that it was originally based on a pedaled, tadpole trike.
Someone, somewhere (anybody else see it?) was talking about getting
kit and converting it back to end up with a velomobile
