Subject: getting trike into canada?
I'm just starting to explore the possibility of a trip from the
Indianapolis area up to Sutton, Ontario, Canada next summer.

My equipment will be a Penninger Voyager Trike. Just started thinking
about it this evening and have already come up with a travel problem.
That is getting from the Detroit side of the river over to the Windsor
side. There appears to be no roads where human powered bikes or
trikes are permitted.

I was wondering if anyone has made the crossing to Canada from the
Detroit area with a bicycle and knows how I can accomplish this.

Thank you

Here's another option.Go to Sandusky Ohio and take the ferry to pele
island.
One more ferry ride from the island will put you in either Leamingto
or Kingsville Ontario. From there, highway 3 east is a pretty good bik
route.

I took my bike on the ferry from Sombro to ine City almost 3 weeks
ago during the Blue Water Ramble bike tour. Customs was checking
everyone for a birth certificate, so you better be sure to have yours
with you.

I'd guess the ferry from ine City to Sombro would take a trike!
