In the past month I've taken part in two house moves using my cargo
trike. Some of you may recall previous pedal frolics by our cycling
group HPVOoO (http://hpv.tricolour.net). For the first one we moved
kitchen appliances, and for the second one we moved entire house
contents (it was only four blocks, but I did get to play tuba while
riding!).

First move:

Second move: http://drumbent.blogspot.com/2007/06/house-move-by-pedal-power-again.html

Also, my longest ride yet moving my drum gear by trike:

Cheers,

Get the house onto a wheeled platform and we'd probably try it! ;)

Not only have we moved appliances, the big trailer was originally
built to carry a Hammond organ, its big Leslie speaker cabinet, plus
the organist for a parade (reported here a few years back):

Details at: http://hpv.tricolour.net/organ-trailer.html

My cargo trike is built along the lines of the "SUV" by Organic
Engines. They have a photo of a fellow towing a boat with his:

Couldn't you just hook up the house and use a super, super granny gear?
Now THAT would be a sight.

I thought you were saying that you moved an entire house by bike.
