I just ordered a 9sp chain for $9.16, shipped, from Nashbar: http://www.nashbar.com/results.cfm?category=76&subcategory=1099&storetype=&init=y&pagename= It's product #NS-CN9. Free shipping today until midnight, code SHP510. When you click to the individual product page and shopping cart, it lists the price as $14.99, but I called and got the $8.45 price. I've been using this same model chain for about a year. It's been as good as any other. Some older KMC chains were absolute crap, but these days they're great. The 8sp one on my MTB has been great too. In fact it's half of a tandem chain that I bought for under $10. Stock up while you can, it's worth it -- unless the tandem ones come on sale again! Matt O.

Thus, when Nashbar finished the change, it was $14.99, not $9.99. Bear in mind that Nashbar uses price to adjust inventory levels. When they sold off enough of those chains @ $9.99, the price reverted to $14.99.

Some stupid old school scripting program they run on that side of the office. Call Customer Service, they will match it.
