I have a bare 1975 Schwinn Sports Tourer frame, and I need to buy a bottom bracket and headset for it. Can anyone give me an idea of what I need to buy? Pilgrim

Any pointers about where to measure the bores? I'm going to have a single chainring, but I haven't bought a crank yet either. I'm open to suggestions.

Either 30.0mm (JIS) or 30.2mm (ISO) and may be cut to a clean ISO in any event at any competent LBS or frame shop. Any track crank with its matching BSC BB. Records are really nice, Sugino are 1/4 the price, many in between. -- Andrew Muzi www.yellowjersey.org Open every day since 1 April, 1971
